Some activities you would do on a typical day at Cheesecake Labs

• Develop and maintain AI-powered applications, leveraging machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and other AI techniques.
• Interact with other teams and professionals, including other developers, designers, project managers, and stakeholders.
• Design and implement intuitive user interfaces.
• Assist in the creation and implementation of AI models and algorithms, including prototyping and testing.
• Assist in the creation and implement mockups
• Develop and maintain Backend solutions using Python, GoLang, Javascript
• Deploy AI models and applications using containerization technologies like Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Design and optimize databases for AI applications using MySQL, Postgres, DynamoDB
• Write beautiful, readable, and scalable code
• Review the code of other developers
• Address the needs of clients and partners by delivering tailored AI solutions that meet their requirements.
• Participate in Sprint Plannings and daily stand-up meetings
• Build estimates and plan roadmaps
• Make sure the application solves real-world problems

In order to succeed, you'll likely need the following skills

• Experience with programming languages commonly used in AI development, such as Python, GoLang, and/or Javascript.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts.
• Experience with RESTful backend applications
• Experience with Javascript, CSS, and HTML
• Experience with ReactJS and/or other Single Page Application libraries
• Experience with Git
• Experience with deployment processes using Docker, CircleCI, AWS, Heroku
• Experience with different databases
• Experience with UNIX systems and terminal usage
• Knowledge about clean code, design patterns, and reactive programming
• Knowledge about basic design principles
• Knowledge about basic Front-end development
• Customer-centric mindset and strong client-facing experience
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in technology (e.g. Blockchain)
• Good communication skills, both in verbal and writing
• Being self-taught
• English proficiency
